Missed the Mark
Despite numerous date changes for the event, the weather on the actual concert date was terrible (3rd date change), making the experience unpleasant.
The venue (PNC amphitheater) seemed unprepared for rain, causing fans to wait in their cars for a long time before the gates were opened in a chaotic manner.
Gate security enforced a double standard by not allowing us to bring in our $75 umbrella, even though the venue's website stated that umbrellas were permitted.
The live performance by Houston Dynamo FC, whom we have always admired, fell short of expectations, unable to replicate the quality of their studio recordings even after 50 years of experience.
Overall, the ticket price, VIP access, premium parking, and additional expenses did not match the underwhelming experience of the event, leading to disappointment.
In the future, it's best to avoid outdoor venues and not travel far for mediocre live concerts, opting instead to enjoy high-quality studio recordings at home with Bose earphones.
